Unless it’s mad, passionate, extraordinary love, it’s a waste of your time. There are too many mediocre things in life; love shouldn’t be one of them.

- Saying no sometimes
- Wanting to be alone sometimes
- Saying no to sex
- Saying yes to sex
- Not being sure about your life career
- Deciding to study instead of going out
- Getting rid of the toxic people in your life
- Ending a relationship that is hurting you
- Not liking the things everyone else likes

My dad always told me that he was lucky enough to have seen MJ and the Bulls win their 6 championships; to have seen Hakeem Olajuwon shake defenders in the post; to have seen Magic pass the ball; to have seen Larry Bird shoot; to have seen Reggie Miller score 8 points in 8.9 seconds; to have been there for both Dream Teams; and most especially to have seen RUN TMC.
I honestly wish I could have seen all those things growing up, but this is a different time, a different era full of players making their own legends.
I will be proud to tell my children that I grew up watching LeBron James win multiple MVPs; I watched Kobe Bryant score 81 points in one game; I watched the duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook lead OKC to multiple Western Conference championships; I watched assists from Steve Nash, Jason Kidd and Rajon Rondo; I watched Vince Carter and Jason Richardson throwdown some of the best dunk contests ever; I was there for Shaq and Kobe, Boston’s Big 3, and Miami’s Big 3, and even the return of Karl Malone, Gary Payton, and Michael Jordan; that I was there for the We Believe Warriors team that knocked the 1st seed Dallas Mavs out of the 2007 playoffs.
But above all those things, I will be most proud to tell my children I was one of the many who witnessed the greatness of Stephen Curry, the best shooter of our time and possibly the greatest shooter of all-time.
